The Power Plant in Rust is a monument with a tricky layout and plenty of spots for high-tier loot. As a "medium-tier" monument, you'll need a Hazmat Suit to explore the heavily radiated areas. So, players heading into this zone are usually well-geared. It's a good idea for survivors to have good weapons, and solid armor before tackling the Power Plant.

To get into the central building and grab the best loot, you'll need a Blue Keycard, a Green Keycard, and an Electric Fuse. You can buy Blue Keycards at the outpost or find them in most tier-1 monuments on the map. Green Keycards usually drop from Military Tunnel or Roaming Scientists but can also show up as random loot in Oxum's Gas Station, Abandoned Supermarket, or Junkyard. Electric Fuses are randomly found in crates and barrels all over the open world.

How Much Rad Protection Do You Need For Power Plant?

Power Plant is one of the most radiated monuments in Rust. To run the most radiated parts of Power Plant, you will need to have a minimum of 50% radiation protection. The only way to achieve this is by using the Hazmat Suit. In addition to using the Hazmat Suit, we also recommend bringing anti-radiation pills if you are able to find them, as this will help in the areas where even the hazmat suit is not enough to protect you.

In addition to the high radiation protection, also take the time to bring lotsof health. Craft a lot of bandages, and if you have the blueprint, craft a lot of medical syringes. This will make running the Power Plant monument exponentially easier.
